- Greece is fastest growing amongst the Top 10 this month, with an increase of 8.8% in capacity over last October.
- Italy and Spain also show notable growth, with increments of 7.9% and 6.6%.
- France and Portugal have minimal changes, suggesting a stable seat capacity and mature aviation market.
- The United Kingdom has a moderate increase of 4.2%, while Turkiye sees a 5% rise.

- Spain and Greece show small increases in domestic capacity of 2% and 4%, respectively, while Italy, the UK, and Croatia experience modest growth around the 1% mark.
- Turkey and Norway maintain relatively stable domestic capacity, with minor decreases noted.

- Western Europe exhibits a moderate increase of 4%, adding over 4.5 million seats. Albania, Croatia and Slovenia all have yet to reach their potential and are growing at a fast pace in the past year.
- Eastern/Central Europe shows a more significant rise of 17%, with an additional 1.7 million seats. Spain and Italy are growing aggressively into Eastern/Central Europe with capacity increases of 33% and 32% over last year and there is enormous potential for further growth.
- Overall, Europe’s seat capacity will increase by 5.3% this month, indicating a healthy expansion in air travel across these regions.

- The international seat capacity data shows a clear rise in air travel demand. Within Europe, there’s a significant 6.8% increase, adding over 5 million seats, making up 81% of the total increase.
- The Asia Pacific region stands out with a 21.1% rise, indicating booming travel in that area.
- Europe-Africa also shows strong growth at 12%.
- Conversely, the Middle East sees a slight decline of 1%, which could point to regional instability and the rising tensions in the region.
- North America and Latin America have moderate increases of 1.7% and 6.2%.
- Overall, the data reflects a general positive trend in international travel, particularly within Europe and Asia Pacific.

- Turkish based LCC, Pegasus records strongest growth amongst the Top 10 European airlines this month, with a year on year increase of 14.5%.
- British Airways also has strong growth this month, with an increase of 6.7% on last October, just behind Ryanair who are up by 6.8%.
- The biggest volume of additional capacity comes from Ryanair who have added 1.2m seats this month on last year, undoubtedly expecting a strong October school holiday season.
- Some of Europe's biggest mainline carriers are holding steady in capacity terms with Deutsche Lufthansa, Turkish, Air France and KLM all recording little or no growth.
