How is the flight seat data generated and validated?
Flight Seats Data is generated using the Aircraft Tail Number. This unique identifier displays number of seats on the aircraft, and how many seats are available for sale in each cabin. It is then validated through OAG’s calculation process that uses Machine Learning and our Flight AI Framework (FLAI) data model to combine historical, actual and scheduled flight data to deliver accurate flight seat data by flight and by cabin level.
