- Chinese carriers making their mark (Air China moves up from 11th to 10th, while China Southern and China Eastern remain ranked 6th and 7th, respectively).
- Rapid changes in fast growing Asian markets as Lion Air drops out of the Top 20 but IndiGo storms in, ranking 17th. The sheer scale of the IndiGo aircraft order book makes this airline one to watch as we see it elbow other airlines out of the way and continue its move up the rankings in future editions of OAG Take-Off.
