Glossary of Terms

Carrier This refers to the airline as represented by a two-character IATA code or full name ex. U2 or EasyJet
Airport This is the point of departure or arrival for a flight represented by a three-character IATA code or a name ex. LTN or Luton Airport
Alliance

Users may select special Airline alliance codes as constraints for carriers. Directories contain the following alliances:

1. ONEWORLD Airline Alliance

2.SKYTEAM Airline Alliance

3.STAR Airline Alliance

Alliance Affiliates Carriers associated with selected alliance
Equipment This refers to the aircraft type used for a flight, as represented by a three-character code or a name ex. 320 or Airbus
Code Share A commercial agreement between two airlines that allows passengers to use a ticket from one airline to travel on another
Non-Stop Flights A flight made without intermediate stops between source and destination
Custom Data Input

This area will process three types of airport IATA pair codes input: tabbed, comma delimited or single space as follows:

1. AMS  ABZ

2. AMS,ABZ

3. AMS ABZ

Create This creates a map and table as per custom list of codes
Reset This resets the map and table
Plot Options

Set of available options for a map:

1. Toggle labels on/off

2. Toggle lines on/off

3. Change the default colour of the lines

4. Change the origin and destination end point colour

5. Switch between IATA code as label or full airport name
