- In 2025, All Nippon Airways' (ANA) capacity is almost flat (+0.3%) compared to 2024, due to a reduction in domestic capacity by 0.8% which accounts for 83% of the airline's total seat capacity.
- The airline's international operations did show growth in 2025, up 6.3%, with large markets such as China and Thailand up 4.7% and 29.3% respectively.
- One unique dynamic in the domestic market in Japan, unlike most large domestic markets, is the high use of widebody aircraft. ANA operates 48% of domestic capacity using widebody aircraft despite all routes being less than 2,000km, within range of narrowbody aircraft.
- This use of widebody aircraft is reflected in ANA's fleet mix which is currently made up of 140 widebody aircraft and 52 narrowbody.
