Highlights from this month's Skift Travel Health Index include:
- Global travel performance strengthened going into the final quarter of 2025, with the Skift Travel Health Index reaching 103 in October, up 3% year-on-year. This was fuelled by a 12% rise in car-rental demand and 6% year-on-year growth of the Asia-Pacific region.
- Latin America continues its post-pandemic momentum with significant sector expansion in the region, including a 16% rise in car rentals. Strong performance came from Argentina and Brazil with 9% and 7% growth increase, respectively.
- Europe is showing signs of growth momentum as it heads into year-end, achieving 1% growth in October 2025.
- Forward-looking flight bookings for Q4 2025 are predicted to be 11% above 2024 levels, with destinations like Rome, Barcelona, and Paris driving demand.
