Highlights from this month's Skift Travel Health Index include:
- The global travel industry showed performance growth, but a closer look at country-level data reveals a mixed performance. Argentina and China led growth with 12% and 10% increases respectively, while European countries - the UK in particular - showed a decline.
- The U.S. and Canada show contrasting performance. While U.S. growth slowed from 6% in January to 1% in July, Canada’s travel health increased from 0.3% to 6% over the same period, fuelled by a strong interest in domestic travel.
- Despite these regional disparities, the report underlines the continued resilience and importance of premium and business travel.
