Boston, February 14th 2017: OAG, the air travel intelligence company, today announced a new partnership with Routes to be the Official Flight Status provider for all Routes Events in 2017. OAG will use its comprehensive flight status database to provide event delegates with real-time flight status updates to help them plan their travel to and from Routes’ events.

As part of the partnership, delegates can register their own flight details or those of a colleague directly through the events website or through a link that will be sent directly to them before the event. OAG will keep registered participants informed with relevant updates to ensure their travel around the event is as smooth and seamless as possible.

“Our event delegates experience many of the same pain points throughout their travel journey as the typical flyer,” said Steve Small, Brand Director at Routes. “Our partnership with OAG will help improve the travel experience of our delegates by ensuring they are always equipped with easily-accessible, highly-reliable and accurate flight information.”

OAG will initially provide a branded web-based flight tracker for delegates to search for a particular flight and receive email alerts regarding their flight’s status – similar to the solution OAG deploys for many of the leading airlines and airports across the globe. Extended plans are in place to fully integrate the service into to the Routes app for events throughout the rest of the year.

As the leading source of air travel intelligence worldwide, OAG, through this new partnership with Routes, will build upon the importance of quality aviation data and reflect the ever growing need for accurate and real-time information.

“Routes events are leading the way for more dynamic discussions around aviation and the development of air services. Together, our joint efforts will place even more importance on the need for reliable and trustworthy flight information, while providing delegates with great access to information that will inform and improve their travel experience overall and at the event,” said Mark Clarkson, EVP Product Management, OAG.

Through this partnership with Routes, OAG continues to highlight the reliability and accuracy of its industry-leading flight information.

The OAG and Routes partnership will debut at Routes Americas 2017, which will be held in Las Vegas from February 14 – 16, 2017. For more information, visit www.OAG.com or http://www.routesonline.com/events

The events revolve around pre-scheduled meetings and an exhibition and conference which are delivered in partnership with host stakeholders. Hosts tend to be a collaboration between airports, tourism authorities and investment partners (the bidding process takes place two to three years before the event takes place).
