ONLINE FARES DATA AND LOGIC UPGRADE FAQS
How is this data obtained?
We source directly from airline websites and APIs. This ensures industry-leading data quality, enhancing both reliability and accuracy.
How is this data different than what was previously being shown in Traffic Analyser?
Previously, our “Online Fares” column was showing the fare revenue average for each market. This means these fares were net of all government and applicable taxes and charges, resulting in negative fares in some occasions. Online fares going forward will show the average fare price airline customers will see at the point of purchase.
WHAT IMPROVEMENTS CAN WE EXPECT TO SEE?
With this new data, you can expect to see an increased carrier coverage of over 500%.
WILL THIS DATA BE ACCESSED THE SAME WAY?
This data will be directly swapped in the platform, meaning it can be accessed the same way as the previous data.
WILL HISTORICAL DATA BE BACKDATED?
All historical data will be backdated and cover the same history, spanning back to 2015.
WHEN WILL I BE ABLE TO ACCESS THIS DATA?
From 9th October 2024.
WILL I STILL BE ABLE TO ACCESS THE PREVIOUS FARES DATA?
All access to the previous data will cease on 9th October 2024.
