A unique connection/flight identifier can be used to identify the records from one connection.

Departure Airport

DepartureAirport

A Three-letter code assigned by IATA to an airport location representing departure airport.

Departure City

DepartureCity

The departure city code as designated by IATA. These are usually the same as the airport code unless the airport belongs to a multi airport city, e.g. LON is the city code for LHR, LGW, LCY, STN and LTN airports.

Arrival Airport

ArrivalAirport

A Three-letter code assigned by the IATA to an airport location representing arrival airport.

Arrival City

ArrivalCity

The arrival city code as designated by IATA.

Circuity

Circuity

Circuity reflects how far from the Great Circle Distance between the origin and destination the actual routing is. A direct flight between points A and B would have a circuity of 100. Essentially circuity measures how far out of your way connecting via a particular gateway takes you.

Connection Type

ConnectionType

Field represents connection type. (o = online connections, i = interline connections, n = offline connections)

Connection   Effective Period

effectivePeriod

The effective period of the operation.

Start Date

startDate

The local effective start date shown as “yyyy-MM-dd”.

End Date

endDate

The local effective end date shown as “yyyy-MM-dd”.

Operating Days of Week​

daysOfOperation

The operating days of week of the operation. E.g. [“sunday”]

Arrival Interval Days

arrivalIntervalDays

The arrival interval days shows if the connection arrives on a different day to when it departed e.g. ‘-1’ = previous day,’0’ = same day, ‘1’ = next day, ‘2’ = 2 days later etc

Is self-connection

isSelfConnection

Indication if this is a self-connecting flight.

QSI

qsi

The QSI value calculated for the connection. This will be the same on all legs related to the connection.

Elapsed Time

elapsedTime

The elapsed journey time of the connection in minutes.

Frequency

Frequency for the connection.

Aircraft

The three-character code of the equipment type in use, as assigned by IATA. E.g. 32Q

Type and Body

Equipment type and body. An example of values: Jet (“J”), append body type (wide/narrow). Final value: “JW”.

Connection Time

connectionTime

Actual connecting (wait) time between first and second leg. Value in minutes.

Low Cost Indicator

isLowCost

Indication if this is a low-cost carrier. Will either show true or false.

MCT Status

mctStatus

The MCT domestic/international marker. The first value is the arrival status and the second is the departure status.

Traffic Restriction

trafficRestriction

Information provided by a carrier to specify restrictions on carrying traffic or limitations to the carriage of traffic.

Domicile Carrier

isDomicileCarrier

Indication if this is a domicile carrier for the leg.

 

Alliance Indicator

isInAlliance

Indication if the carrier is an alliance member. Will either show true or false.

Service Type

serviceType

Indicates the utilisation of the aircraft whether passenger, cargo etc. following the IATA standard.

Codeshare

codeshare

Denotes the operating carrier of a flight where seats/space can be sold by one or more airline under its own Carrier code in a codeshare agreement.
