We recommend that customers have at least a basic level of competency with standard SQL in order to query data from the Snowflake platform. Snowflake also supports common variations for a number of commands where those variations do not conflict with each other.
As Snowflake presents a huge number of integration possibilities, customers are also able to make use of other programming languages such as Python or Java to interface with Snowflake. However, use of SQL even within those languages is always required to query the platform for data.
