LONDON (Dow Jones)--easyJet PLC (EZJ.LN), the U.K. airline, said Thursday it is opening 15 new routes across Europe for its 2009/10 winter schedule.

MAIN FACTS:

-Eight of the new routes will operate from U.K. airports.

-New Routes are: Liverpool to Lanzarote (starting Nov. 3); Liverpool to Fuerteventura (starting Nov. 2); Luton to Sharm El Sheikh (starting Nov 3); Luton to Paphos (Starting Nov. 4); Stansted to Fuerteventura (starting Nov. 4); Edinburgh to Lyon (starting Dec. 17); Gatwick to Hamburg (starting Feb. 2, 1010); Gatwick to Porto (starting Nov. 2); Rome Fiumicino to Athens (starting Oct. 15); Rome Fiumicino to Amsterdam (starting Nov. 2); Rome Fiumicino to Lisbon (starting Nov. 2); Rome Fiumicino to Lamezia Terme (starting Nov. 2); Rome to Geneva (starting Oct. 26); Rome to Madrid (starting Oct. 26); Madrid to Amsterdam (starting Nov. 2).
