Boutique Hotels Where have you been? by Mario Hardy

October 5, 2009

“For many years I had the habit of staying in branded hotels when I travelled on business and as many others did joined, several hotel reward programs. It was just what everyone else around me was doing and it seemed a pretty good idea at the time. A few months ago I had a last minute trip to Hong Kong and pressured by the boss to reduce travel cost thought I’d look for a boutique hotel to see if I could get a good deal. This was against the advice of my work colleague who expected the worst from my stay; which obviously picked my curiosity even more. While surfing the web for a deal; I came across a collection of avant-garde and trendy-chic hotels www.epoquehotels.com . I then had my first experience of Boutique hotels and started to wonder where they were before; how come I had never heard or experience them.

If you are longing for the time where hotels were welcoming; personal; friendly and attentive to your every needs; then you will enjoy and appreciate your stay in a Boutique hotel. Charming little things; they are normally in trendy location; small in size; avant-garde design with all the comfort you’d expect from a 5 star hotel and more. Ipod dock, Bose systems, flat TV, Nintendo Wii are amongst the many gadgets you can expect to see. Best of all; you will often realise that they are not as expensive as you may think and will offer great value for money; and most importantly make you look super good in front of the boss for having saved the company lots of $$$. I have since stayed in Boutique hotels in Hong Kong and Beijing and continue to be on the look-up for them when ever I travel to a new destination.”
