OAG EXPANDS INTO TURKEY WITH THE APPOINTMENT OF CARGOPORT AS ITS REGIONAL REPRESENTATIVE.

OAG Cargo Solutions (www.oagcargo.com) announced today the appointment of Cargoport as its representative for Turkey. This was announced at Air Cargo Europe in Munich, where OAG is exhibiting, and reflects OAG Cargo’s long-term vision for expanding its presence in strategically important markets.
Cargoport plays an active role in the support of e-freight and automation of air freight in Turkey, representing a number of high profile companies within the region. It was established in 2006 and is managed by Directors Ahmet Izer and Mine Usluadam. Prior to founding Cargoport, Ahmet Izer worked for Turkish Airlines and MNG Airlines, while Mine worked for Havas and Skyport.
Mine Usluadam said, “We believe the future of air freight in Turkey lies in automation and e-freight. OAG products will help the freight forwarders to realize this future and become more efficient service providers for the shippers in Turkey. Our aim is to make OAG the leading information provider in Turkey.”
Cargoport’s brief is to promote the full range of products and services offered by OAG Cargo including its Inforwarding Announcements service that enables airlines to publish time-sensitive operational announcements for the Turkish market and to communicate these via a secure online network to freight forwarders worldwide.
