OAG Cargo and Conducive Technology Corporation Sign Agreement
12 July 2006
ITeaming up to provide fast, cost saving shipment routing decision support to worldwide cargo community
Effective immediately, OAG is the exclusive worldwide agent for Conducive Technology’s Pathfinder products and services. OAG Cargo’s international airfreight customers can now access a new level of decision support for shipment routing and shipment monitoring.
Under the terms of the agreement OAG will also be supplying their comprehensive global schedules information to support Conducive Technology’s range of products and services.
OAG already provides a growing portfolio of cargo schedules, data and internet technology solutions, including the Inforwarding operational announcements service for airlines and freight forwarders and the Air Freight Rates (AFRA) database. This latest move is another key building block in OAG’s ambition to provide a global cargo portal.
Mike Navin, Director of Cargo Services at OAG Worldwide, said: “Pathfinder is a world class solution that complements our overall strategy of establishing alliances with leading technology partners who can provide added features and benefits for our customers. It will enhance the schedules information we already provide by allowing customers to access information on direct flights, connections and to build their own routings using the dynamic market intelligence Pathfinder offers.
“This important new partnership with Conducive Technology Corp. will enable OAG customers to plan freight shipments accurately and faster than ever before and make better, more cost efficient decisions for themselves and their customers even on the most complex routings.”
As part of its full suite of information services, Pathfinder also provides road feeder schedules, flight status, airport and weather status information and event notification. In addition, Pathfinder offers Webservices, and Application Program Interfaces (APIs) that enable users to integrate schedules data directly into their own systems.
Jeff Kennedy, CEO of Conducive Technology, added: “This is a win-win deal for both organizations. OAG gives us access to unsurpassed schedules data and a global sales and marketing resource for our Pathfinder services while, in return, OAG Cargo customers will now have an up-to-the-minute source of air cargo and truck information that will enable them to improve their bottom line through the best routing decision support and status notification.”
