Management Team
Zara Pinner was appointed Senior Vice President of Human Resources in September 2007. She supports the Board and senior management team in all strategic, developmental and operational HR initiatives and activities, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements in all of the company’s global locations, and governance in all people issues.
Zara’s human resources career commenced in 1981. Having gained broad and deep experience through a series of operational and managerial corporate HR roles, she became an HR consultant in 1998. In that capacity, she has worked with leadership teams in blue chip corporates to support mergers, acquisitions, restructuring and pay & benefits programs, in international environments, and has successfully managed the HR aspects of organisational and transformational change. In 2006, Zara completed her first project for United Business Media (CBM’s parent) and, following a second project, now brings her knowledge of the group to her current role.
Zara has a post-graduate Diploma in Personnel Management, a Masters Degree in Human Resource Strategies, and is a chartered member of the UK’s Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.
