ORBIS is a global, non-profit humanitarian organization dedicated to blindness prevention and treatment in developing countries. It works in partnership with local communities to improve the quality and sustainability of eye care where the need is greatest.

At the heart of ORBIS is the world’s only Flying Eye Hospital, a DC-10 wide-body aircraft converted into an innovative teaching facility and ophthalmic surgical center.
