Mike Navin has been appointed Managing Director of OAG Cargo to spearhead the next stage of development for the fast-growing communications portal for the global air cargo industry. This follows the acquisition of OAG in December 2006 by Commonwealth Business Media (CBM), the leading information provider to the global trade and transportation market. Formerly Director of Cargo Services at OAG, Mike Navin will be based at OAG Cargo’s new offices in Ascot, Berkshire, close to London Heathrow. Other global appointments include Bart Jan Haasbeek and Dirk de Rooij with responsibility for key accounts and business development respectively across all OAG Cargo products. Bart Jan and Dirk will continue to be based in The Netherlands. In the UK, Simon Wolfe joins OAG Cargo as Head of UK Sales and Kristyna Berankova has been appointed as an Account Development Executive. Simon was formerly Cargo Sales Manager of VARIG LOG, and has 20 years experience in the UK air cargo industry. Kristyna began her cargo career in 2003 with Czech Airlines in London and has joined OAG Cargo from Globe Air Cargo, where she was a sales executive.
