Alan Glass, President and CEO of Commonwealth Business Media (CBM) has announced the promotion of Mario Hardy to the position of Vice President of the Asia Pacific Region for the Official Airline Guide (OAG), a subsidiary of CBM. CBM is a business unit of United Business Media plc. Hardy has been with OAG since 1999. During his career with OAG, he has served in a number of capacities including Operations Director, Sales Director for EMEA, Commercial Director-Aviation in Beijing and most recently as Vice President of Sales for ASPAC having moved to Singapore about seven months ago. Hardy has more than 22 year’s professional expertise in the travel industry having begun his career with People’s Express Airlines in 1985. Prior to joining OAG, Mario worked in a number of sales, marketing and operational positions for Canadian Airlines, which is now part of Air Canada.
