Day of the Week and Fares

On some routes, the day of the week that the traveler flies can affect the fare. The letters W and X appear in the Fare Basis (letters that show the type of fare purchased, explained later in other units).

The letter W indicates a flight departing at the Weekend, so EITHER Friday to Sunday OR Saturday and Sunday.

The letter X shows a flight departing Midweek, so EITHER Monday to Thursday OR Monday to Friday.
