Frequent flyers to go further for less with BA Miles

Flying with British Airways is now even more rewarding as a result of changes to the airline's Executive Club programme that allows customers to use BA Miles to go further for less.

Members of BA’s frequent flyer programme can fly to destinations in 42 countries across Europe and North Africa for up to 25% less Miles. Flights booked with 'part Miles, part cash and ‘Miles for upgrades’ have also been reduced.

And those who book and fly before December 27, qualify for a further discount of up to 50% on current Mileage rates for reward flights to more than 20 long-haul and short-haul destinations from both London Heathrow and Gatwick airports.

Executive Club members can earn BA Miles on every BA flight or on those with partner airlines, as well as when they book car hire, hotels or use the British Airways American Express credit card.  Additionally, Gold and Silver cardholders also have access to more than 250 airport lounges worldwide. Other benefits include priority wait-listing, check-in and boarding, and discounts on flights and holidays throughout the year.

Triple B value deal

Millennium & Copthorne hotels in Asia have launched a special promotion targeting the corporate travel market. Applicable for weekday and weekend stays and valid until December, the Triple B room packages comprise bed, breakfast and broadband internet access – the three basic Bs required by those travelling on business.

The participating hotels are all strategically located close to Central Business Districts, commercial buildings and exhibition, conference and event centres, and are therefore ideal for the corporate market.

In Singapore, they are the Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel (S$208); Orchard Hotel (S$215 weekdays and S$188 weekends); M Hotel (from S$220); Copthorne King's Hotel (S$198 week-days and S$178 weekends); Copthorne Orchid Hotel (from S$145). In Indonesia, the Millennium Hotel Sirih Jakarta is charging US$58 for the Triple B package.

All rates quoted are subject to prevailing taxes, and certain terms and conditions apply.

Seasonal Choices rates

Mandarin Oriental has relaunched its group-wide Seasonal Choices promotion which provides travellers with special bed & breakfast rates both during the week and at weekends. Valid until the end of April next year, the B&B rates are available at all Mandarin Oriental properties around the world, including the recently reopened flagship hotel in Hong Kong and the new property in Prague.

Seasonal Choices combines luxurious accommodation with breakfast included, double occupancy at the same rate, late check-out and a complimentary extra bed for a child under the age of 12. All rates are exclusive of local government taxes and service charge, where applicable, and are subject to availability and change.
