Produce a report to show Airline Capacity deployment from Denver International Airport.
This week we will guide you on how to construct a report to reveal the airline frequency share based on non-stop departures for the week commencing 19th May 2008.
Start by clicking on the ‘Run a New Query’ link in MAX Online’s homepage then set up your query using the yellow Query Filters in the Edit Query window;

The report shows that United Airlines is the carrier offering the highest number of weekly departures with 2,830 flights followed in second place by Frontier Airlines with 1,388 and Southwest in third with 532 flights, respectively.
Next, we will calculate the frequency share for each carrier departing from Denver.
Click into the data contained in the Frequency column.
Click the Sum button in the Report toolbar and select the Percentage option from the sub-menu.
MAX Online reveals the top 3 airlines by frequency share as United with 48.29%, Frontier Airlines Inc. (F9) with 23.67% and Southwest Airlines (WN) with 9.07% respectively for the week commencing 19th May 2008. Using the options available in the Properties tab on the left hand side of the Edit Report screen you can create a report with the same or similar look and feel to the one displayed below.
