Click on ‘Run Query’ and select ‘EU1’ as the ‘Departure Region Code(s)’.  Then enter the higher value of the seating range you wish to examine e.g. 120.  In the next prompt, please enter the lower value e.g. 100.  Finally, select the week that you wish to examine e.g. 2006-08-14.

Now click OK to run the report.

The table that is produced shows all airlines departing from Western Europe with a seats value between 100 – 120 seats by aircraft type.

Following the steps below, we will group the results by aircraft type to make some direct comparisons amongst all operating carriers.

Step 1 – Click into the data contained within the ‘Specific Aircraft Code’ column.
Step 2 – Now select the Insert/Remove Break icon that is displayed in the top toolbar.

You will notice that the results show freight flights as well, which you can analyse further by incorporating additional measures such as ‘Revenue Traffic Mail’ or ‘Revenue Traffic Freight’.

Please note that the data is available for BOTH directions, inbound and outbound traffic.  Therefore you can replicate the above process selecting ‘CHICAGO’ as the ‘From City Name’ and ‘FRANKFURT’ as the ‘To City Name’ for the same year.

* For those customers who have already upgraded their account to include access to ‘ICAO Analysis’.
