Click on Run Queryand select BKK, SIN, HKG, NRT & PEK as the ‘DepartingAirport Code(s)’ and 2006-08-07 as the ‘Week Commencing Date’. Now Click OK to run the report.
The results show the total number of operating flights departing from these five airports during w/c 07 August 2006.
Following the steps below, we will produce a table that enables us to compare the number of flights by operating carrier.
Step 1 – Click onto the data contained within the ‘DepartureAirport Code’ column. Step 2 – Drag this column and drop it to the top of the table. A long blue rectangle will appear on the screen indicating that the cross tab will be created as shown in the image below (click on the chart to view larger image):
The results will now be grouped by Carrier and Departing Airport Code.
Click on the ‘ICAO Analysis’ link on the home page of OAG MAX. This will open up the ‘ICAO Analysis’ query tool. Start setting up your query using the following ‘Query Filters’ (yellow icons) that can be found in the ‘Airport Traffic’ folder.

Now select the following fields as Results Objects (blue cubes/purple spheres) from the ‘Air Carrier Traffic’ folder.
Airport Name Year Number of Passengers Embarked Number of Passengers Disembarked

Click on Run Queryand select Linate, Malpensa, Fiumicino, Lisboa and Eleftherios Venizelos as the ‘Airport Name’ and 2003 as the ‘Year’.
Now Click OK to run the report. MAX Online will display the number of passengers embarked and disembarked from these five South European airports. In addition, you can display the results in a graphical format. (click on the chart to view larger image)
