Build an airport profile based on the distribution of all available flights by aircraft type. Example: Analyse Helsinki Vantaa Airport based on the weekly number of available flights by aircraft type. Start setting up your query using the yellow query filters:
Now select the following fields as Results Objects.

Click on Run Query and select ‘HEL’ as your ‘Departure Airport Code(s)’ option. Select the week that you wish to run the analysis for, e.g. 2006-10-23. Now click OK to run the report. Your report displays the number of flights offered out of HEL by aircraft name during week commencing 23 October 2006.
Now take the following steps to find out the number of different types of aircraft operated by all airlines out of HEL. Step 1 – Click into the data within the ‘Specific Aircraft Name’ column. Step 2 – Click on the ‘Insert Sum’ button and select the ‘Count’ option.
The total number of aircraft is displayed at the bottom of the table. In the case of HEL, for w/c 23 October 2006, the airport will serve 39 different aircraft types. Now follow the steps below to identify which is the most frequent aircraft type used at HEL: Step 1 – Click within the ‘Frequency’ column. Step 2 – Now rank the Frequency data in descending order utilising the ‘Z-A’ sub option from the AZ button on the top toolbar as shown in the image below.
The results of the schedules analysis show that the A319s and A320s are the most frequent visitors at HEL airport with 223 and 201 weekly departures respectively. Step 3 - Customise the report using the ‘Properties’ tab
