Identify the number of international and domestic destinations served by a specific carrier. Example: We will produce a report that shows all the points served by bmi - British Midland (BD) for the week commencing 18 September 2006. Start setting up your query using the yellow query filters:
Now select the following fields as Results Objects.

Click on Run Query and select ‘BD’ as the ‘Departing Airport Code'. Then select the week that you wish to examine e.g. 2006-09-18. Now Click OK to run the report. The results show all airports served by bmi for its domestic and international operations. Now follow the steps below to identify the actual number of links: Step 1 – Click into the data contained within the ‘International/Domestic’ column. Step 2 – Now select the Insert/Remove Break icon that is displayed in the top toolbar.
The results will now be grouped by ‘International/Domestic’ Operations. Step 3 – Click into the data contained within the ‘To/From Airport Name’ column. Step 2 – Now click on the drop down menu next to the S icon. This is positioned in the Report toolbar and is displayed in the following format. The S icon will also be highlighted.
Step 3 – Select the ‘Count’ option.
OAG MAX Online will calculate the number of international and domestic points served by bmi with the results being displayed at the bottom of the table. The tool not only will count the number of international (28) and domestic (10) destinations but it will also show the overall number of unique points of bmi’s network, which for the w/c 18 September 2006 are 32. The results table can be customised using the Properties Tab as shown in the image below:
