Compare Domestic & International Flights.

Example: How to identify the volume of domestic and international flights available from Frankfurt in Germany.

Start setting up your query using the yellow query filters:

Departure Airport Code

DEPARTURE FROM folder
All Flights (excluding surface) SERVICE folder
Operating Flights Only CODESHARE folder
Week Commencing Date PERIOD folder
Non-Stop Flights Only ROUTING folder

Now select the following fields as Results Objects.

International/Domestic

SERVICE folder
Frequency  FREQUENCY & CAPACITY folder

Click on Run Query and select FRA as the Departure Airport Code and 2006-05-15 as the Week Commencing Date.


Once you have run the report, click on the data that is contained within the Frequency column.  Click on the drop down menu next to the S icon.




Select the Percentage option.  OAG MAX Online will calculate the share of domestic and international flights departing FRA on 15 May 2006

ExampleHow to conduct a trend analysis for Airports

From the OAG MAX home page select Airport Reports.  Expand the report menu by clicking on the plus ‘+’ symbol.  Now expand the list to view the Trend Analysis – Airports option, select the Monthly sub option

There are three report templates available.  MAX D20 (based on Arrival Flights), MAXY25 (based on Departing Flights) and MAX D30 (based on Departing & Arrival flights).

These reports show the total number of flights available by all airports within a country over any given period of time.

You can select multiple periods of time.

Example:  Select report template MAXD25 Month on Month Departing Flights.

Step 1    Select Departing Country Name - France

Step 2    Select two months 200606 and 200607

Step 3    Run the Report

The results show a month on month comparison of the number of available flights departing from all airports in France.
