IATA's detailed five-year forecasts of passenger markets at the global, regional and country level derive from its 2008 survey of the industry's leading forecasters and strategic planners from major airlines, civil aviation and airport authorities. 

This report is estimated to represent 95% of total world scheduled passengers, and contains 1,741 international and 55 domestic unduplicated country pairs.

The data is complemented by an informed and comprehensive commentary on current and future developments in the air transport industry.
